TABC, a vibrant Modern Orthodox yeshiva high school for boys located in Teaneck, NJ, is seeking an experienced and knowledgeable full-time Director of Technology who will be responsible for developing and managing the technology strategy and infrastructure of the school.

RESPONSIBILITiES
Develop and execute short and long-term technology plans
Develop and manage IT budgets
Oversee backup systems for data
Maintain stability and security of networks
Negotiate with vendors to procure and improve products and services
Manage the support of the school’s SIS, business office applications and phone systems, as well as cloud and web services
Work with administration to identify and promote the use of technologies to improve efficiency

Day-to-Day
Serve as “first responder” to tech support requests, which arrive by email, phone, and in-person. Diagnose the request and handle directly, or refer to other department members when necessary
Manage and maintain A/V setups in meeting spaces, including microphones, sound systems, and projectors
Maintain and troubleshoot classroom A/V equipment (Smartboards, computers, etc.)
Oversee installation, troubleshooting of problems with computers, copiers/printers, software, network, and peripheral equipment

QUALIFICATIONS
4-year college degree in technology-related field or equivalent work experience
Thorough understanding of G-Suite
Experience in educational technology and the integration of technology in schools
Ability to use technology and innovation to improve efficiency and solve problems
Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills, and the ability to handle diverse responsibilities and multiple tasks in parallel
